We rarely receive complaints from our clients, but sometimes things happen and once in a while we hear from an unsatisfied customer.
Just a few weeks ago we had an order from Israel to deliver a peace lily plant to a recipient in the USA. A beautiful large plant was successfully delivered to the recipient, the confirmation of the delivery received, and the order was marked as complete.
Of course if everything was so smooth we wouldn’t have told you this story, right?
The next day we received an email from the recipient which made us laugh out loud for a few minutes. The recipient told us that when she received the plant, she was very pleased with it, as it was beautiful and large. She put it in the living room to take delight in its beauty. However, her enjoyment was soon interrupted by a unexpected appearance of a frog. The little green frog jumped out of the plant and started jumping on the floor.
The story wouldn’t have been so funny if she didn’t tell us about her husband’s reaction to such an unexpected appearance. It turned out that her husband was extremely afraid of all sorts of creatures, including frogs. He started jumping on the furniture, which in turn scared his wife and she started screaming. Are you already laughing out loud imagining the scene?
Horrified, the woman called her neighbor who came to their house to help them to deal with the frog. In the meantime, the frog, after jumping around the room, jumped back into the pot. Probably it got scared by the jumping man and a screaming woman!
The helpful neighbor came right on time to remove the pot with the flower and place it outside.
The story is funny in itself, but the subsequent requests adds even more humor to it. The recipient wanted the florist to take the plant back and bring another one that does not have a frog in it. She asked to thoroughly check the plant to make sure there was no frog in it.
With such an interesting request we called the florist who made the delivery and had another round of laughs telling them what happened. Luckily the florist was able to fulfill the request and a few hours later another plant was delivered to the recipient. Without a frog!
